Washable African Print Fabric Face Mask - Buy one, Donate one
This option is currently sold out
So far we have made, sourced and donated over 250 fabric face masks for distribution to people in rural areas of Kenya.
We've now run out of scrap fabric from our stash so we've introduced a "buy one, donate one" system to allow us to continue supporting people in Kenya against COVID-19:
For every mask purchased, one will be donated and distributed through the Kenya Red Cross and AMREF (African Medical Research Foundation).
Purchasing a mask will cover our cost of materials, labour and shipping to Kenya - we are not making any profit.
These reusable fabric face masks are made from two layers of tightly woven bright African print cotton, contoured to fit closely over your nose, mouth and chin.
There are two elastic loops - one to go around the back of your head and the other around the back of your neck to avoid putting any pressure on your ears.
The elastic can be shortened by tying a little knot to get a comfortable fit.
There are 3 sizes available:
Adults - 9cm high, 23cm wide
Kids (7-12) - 8cm high, 20cm wide
Kids (3-6) - 7.5cm high, 19cm wide
We recommend that you wash your mask at 30°C when it arrives, and wash it after every use.
Lay flat to dry and iron if you wish, avoiding the elastic.
Pattern placement will vary slightly from image shown.
These are not medical grade PPE masks, they are made to reduce contact risk.
Leave the medical masks to the medical professionals who need them the most.
Always remove your mask by the elastic straps, touch it as little as possible.
Do not use a mask on any child under the age of 2 years or on any person who already has breathing difficulties.
We do not accept returns on this item for hygiene reasons.
